The intention of the SELACO WDB Business Resource Center is to provide a centralized resource that can ultimately help a small business achieve a competitive advantage.  Employers can utilize the Business Resource Center to recruit and screen prospective employees and prioritize their needs. The Business Resource Center can also help companies find information about new business development, loan programs, labor laws, labor market information, business to business services, Business Start-up, Business Expansion, Workforce Development (Skills Assessment and Training), Customized Business Solutions, and Business Support Services

An employer can host interviews in the Center at no cost. The Business Resource Center offers the employer a fully equipped space (Internet-connected PCs, telephones, copiers, and meeting space) to conduct interviews in a professional environment.

A SELACO WDB Business Resource Center offers individualized and shared work space for entrepreneurs and small business owners.  This work space includes the following elements:

  • High speed internet access
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Free printing (hopefully to include color printing)
  • Assistance with marketing ideas and materials
  • Scanner
  • Conference area for meetings
  • Small business reference collection

Individualized work space would be offered on a reservation basis or first-come, first-served if space(s) are vacant.  Based on popularity and use, there could be a restriction as to how many hours used per day/per week/per month.  Availability would only be during SELACO WDB office hours of Monday – Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m.

How can we help you?

Our top priority is to make sure you reach your goals and get your business started.  We know that takes a lot of research so we have provided links to get your search started.

You may not know which city you want to settle into… that again will take research.  Just click on one, two or all of the seven city links provided below.  Each link will take you to the city of your choice and each city provides you with basic information needed to start your business.  Contrast and compare… for some types of businesses you may need a business license in each city.  This site allows you to easily conduct your research from one location.
